While many people associate speech therapy with helping children pronounce words, it actually supports individuals of all ages with a wide range of communication and swallowing challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What Is Speech Therapy?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speech therapy focuses on evaluating and treating difficulties related to communication and swallowing. This includes but is not limited to improving clients\u2019 ability to speak clearly, understand language, express thoughts, and safely eat and drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speech therapy is personalized. An SLP works with clients to optimize their treatment on an individual level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who Can Benefit from Speech Therapy?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speech therapy isn\u2019t just for one group of people.
